AHDB Silage Workshop - Seascale

AHDB Silage Workshop - Seascale

Join AHDB for this timely discussion on winter silage.  It will provide a good opportunity to assess this year’s silage crops to identify if improvements can be made to silage making in the coming season.

Dr Dave Davies, an expert on silage, will talk through the theory behind silage making and then help the group assess the silages on the farm.  He will talk about the importance of silage analysis and how it should be interpreted.  This will cover both bale and clamp silage.

After attending this workshop, producers will be able to fully assess their own silages and identify if any changes should be made to make and feed out better silage.

By kind permission of Thomas & Izzy Ostle.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
