Grass and Forage Development Group                                                                                                                             Reaseheath College Farm (meet in farmyard)

Cheshire Grassland Society invites you to a free open meeting as part of the Grass and Forage Development Group, all are welcome to attend.

The programme, 'putting research into practice' will include talks and practical demonstrations from leading industry experts:

  • Slurry and digestate for silage - field scale demonstration with Sam Grundy, Reaseheath Farm Demonstration Officer
  • Sulphur, clover and nitrogen for grazed grass - plot trials with Elaine Jewkes, Grassland Specialist at GrowHow
  • Growing mixed forages (lucerne, maize, beans) - Reaseheath College Farm with Mark Yearsley, Farm Manager
