BGS Summer Meeting 2010 - SOLD OUT

BGS Summer Meeting 2010 - SOLD OUT

Hosted by: the East of Scotland Grassland Society

On the theme of 'It's no what ye Hae, it's what ye dae wi' what ye hae', from a base close to Edinburgh, we will visit dairy, beef and sheep farms during this three day meeting.

For more information, view the Summer Meeting 2010 Programme or to see the ESGS programme over the four days click here.

The event begins on Sunday afternoon with registration from 4pm to 6pm. After the evening meal, the BGS Annual General Meeting will take place (note this will be held on Sunday and not as previously advertised) - followed by a welcome from the East of Scotland Grassland Society and presentation on the local area.

A Ceilidh will be held on Monday evening, after a dinner of 'Haggis, neaps and tatties' (alternatives available).

The BGS Annual Gala Dinner and reception will be held on Tuesday evening.

The main tour ends on Wednesday afternoon and those travelling south may bring cars to the day delegate meeting point in the morning, to save them returning to Edinburgh.

If flying out of Edinburgh, please book flights after 7.30pm or contact the BGS office to ensure we can drop you there in time for your flight. Otherwise you will need to make your own arrangement to return from the farm at Jedburgh (quite a distance away).
