11.00 – Form groups to tour each station: 

  1. Why use the Recommended Grass and Clover List? – Peter Burgis (NIAB-TAG) and Liz Genever (AHDB Beef & Lamb)
  2. How do grasses and clovers respond to low nitrogen levels? – Jo Matthews (NIAB)
  3. Plans for crop nutrient management review – John Williams (ADAS)
  4. The value of mixed swards – Bridget Lynch (University College Dublin)
  5. The benefit of deeper rooting grasses and clovers – Heather McCalman (IBERS)
  6. The impact of soil compaction – Paul Hargreaves (SRUC)
