BGS seeks Technical Project Manager

BGS seeks Technical Project Manager

Monday, October 17, 2011

The British Grassland Society is a rapidly developing organisation with many activities which facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practice among farmers, livestock and forage experts and scientists. As part of this development, we are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager, for which a salary of up to £40,000 is available.

The development of our one day special interest days, Nutrient Wise Demos project and involvement in the successful bid, headed by SAC, which has won the DairyCo Research Partnership for grass and forage, means we are now seeking a full-time Project Manager. The role will be varied and include taking on responsibility for some of our activities and providing content for our magazine and website, as well as working with members and our network of local societies. The successful candidate will have a proven record of managing activity, a livestock or forage background and a minimum of three years relevant experience. They must be computer literate, with a full driving licence.
