Feedback Prize Winner – A year’s free BGS membership

Thursday, July 24, 2014

BGS are pleased to award the prize of a yea’s free BGS membership for feedback following the BGS Summer Meeting 2014 to Mr Gerald Turner.

Gerald, who works for Yara, provided feedback to BGS after attending the Summer Meeting, ‘Nowt ewe canna dae wi’girse’ held in North East Scotland earlier this July. His feedback form was drawn randomly, from all those received, by Dr George Fisher, Acting Director.

Gerald’s free membership will begin in January 2015 and will run for a full 12 months, which we hop he really enjoys.

BGS would also like to thank everyone who provided feedback, which we use to keep the BGS Summer Meeting the success that it is.

Fancy having a year’s BGS membership yourself?

We don’t often give away membership for free, but it’s always incredibly good value for money.

Membership is open to everyone with an interest in grassland, whether through farming, for study or research, or as a hobby.

We hold regular events and activities for members, as well as issuing a number of members’ publications.

Our annual membership fee is £60 per person and discounted membership of £30 is available for those who are retired and students* (*under 25 years of age or in full-time education).
