Free Range Dairy meetings begin

Free Range Dairy meetings begin

Thursday, March 8, 2012

At the end of 2011 we announced that Somerset dairy farmer Neil Darwent was looking for dairy farmers to answer a survey for the newly established Free Range Dairy initiative.

Free Range Dairy is a farmer-led initiative to reclaim the value of milk for UK dairy farmers.  The non-profit making organising has been established by Neil to promote the value of pasture-based milk production on UK farms, for the benefit of farmers, cows and consumers.

Neil is hosting the first regional meeting for Free Range Dairy in the South West on 22nd March. At the event farmers will have the chance to learn more about Free Range Dairy, be among the first people to hear the results from the Free Range Dairy survey and have a say on how the initiative should move forward.
