Funding from Stapledon Memorial Trust has made five funded places available for students or under 25’s wishing to attend our Winter Meeting on 1 March.

Ian Givens, Professor of Food Chain Nutrition, University of Reading: An overview of current issues.
Peter Scott, Origin Fertilisers: Trace elements in the Soil and Interactions.
James Husband, Technical Director, Evidence Group Limited: Trace element supply to the Animal.
Topics covered will include: Micronutrient contents of grasses and legumes and its biogeography; Farmer knowledge and management controls on Magnesium; Copper avoidance behaviour in sheep; Micronutrients in organic compared to conventionally farmed soils; Assessing trace element status.
