Following on from the success of last year’s Forage Protein Courses and a sharp increase in interest in Lucerne as a crop, Germinal have decided to hold more Lucerne Training Sessions again this year. Germinal are delighted to be joined by Jerome Vasseur from their Lucerne breeding partners in France, Jouffray-Drillaud.  He will lead delegates through an interactive session to help consolidate the learning process.

The Lucerne Training Sessions to be held at:

Tuesday 23rd February 2:30pm;

Best Western Tillington Hall Hotel, Eccleshall Road, Stafford. ST16 1JJ

Wednesday 24th February 2:30pm:

The Kings Arms, The Street, Didmarton, Badminton GL9 1DT

Thursday 25th February 2:30 pm:

Lyncombe Lodge Hotel, Lyncombe Drive, Churchill, Somerset BS25 5PQ

The training will cover the following topics:

  • establishment methods
  • cultivation and crop nutrition
  • harvesting and feeding the crop
  • up to date plant breeding

As well as the above, the training is aimed at giving you and your team the sales advantages of growing pre-inoculated and SAS treated Lucerne seed over and above other varieties and treatments.

The sessions will start with tea and coffee on arrival and will last no more than two hours and is of course free of charge.
