Improving Ruminant Production

Improving Ruminant Production

Thursday, October 30, 2014

Climate change, demographic trends, economics and resource constraints are converging to pose serious challenges for agricultural production. As UK food industry experts warn of a potential UK food crisis, the pressure to produce more from less grows. Increasing the efficiency of ruminant production systems is a vital step towards both financial and environmental sustainability.

Join us at the Improving Ruminant Production workshop on the 12th and 13th November at Dovecote Park (suppliers of all beef to Waitrose) in West Yorkshire to learn about one of the most forward thinking supply chains in the UK beef sector and about the latest research into production efficiency from IBERS, Aberystwyth University and SENRGY, Bangor University, two of the world leaders in this area of research.
