Last chance to enter National Grassland Management Competition

Thursday, June 7, 2012

The deadline date for local grassland societies in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland to enter a candidate into the regional round of the National Grassland Management Competition is tomorrow, Friday 8th June.

So far BGS have received entries from local societies across the UK, but to be in with a chance of winning this prestigious award an entry must be made in this initial round to progress any further in the competition. Once a winner for your local grassland society has been chosen, the entrant must submit details of their farm in the BGS NGMC Submission Form, which can be found in the drop down menu for 'Publications' at the top of this web page. Only sections A and B need to be filled in at this stage.

Please note that different dates apply to local societies in Wales and this with be organised through the Federation of Welsh Grassland Societies (FWGS).
