Teagasc Grass Breeding Survey

Teagasc Grass Breeding Survey

Tuesday, May 25, 2010

On the 14th and 15th of October this year Teagasc will hold an International grassland conference in Cork, Ireland.

The conference will focus on livestock production requirements from perennial ryegrass as a feed source in temperate climates. This conference provides a unique platform for all stakeholders to participate in strengthening progress in the grassland sector.

As part of this conference we are conducting a survey to elicit the opinions of people involved in every aspect of grassland from grass breeding to reseeding.  The results of this survey will be presented at the conference with the aim of using these results to provide direction for future grass breeding.
