Variable Bale Making Becomes Faster and Simpler

By measuring the bale diameter during net binding, once the bale moves to the wrapping table on the Lely Welger RPC 445 Tornado combined baler- wrapper it can be dealt with quicker than previous models, say Lely.

Also helping increase wrapping speed is the higher position of the pressing chamber, so the bale can roll on effortlessly to the wrapping table.  As the baler tailgate closes, the ring wrapper makes optimal use of the space between the tailgate, so it's busy wrapping even before the tailgate has closed.

The ring wrapper adjusts itself to the correct height, so that the film is always wrapped over the heart of the bale.  And, at the same time, the wrapping system calculates the number of rotations that are needed to provide the bale with the required number of film layers.

This ensures the machine is unrivalled for speed, with exceptional quality and reliability, while reducing film costs to a minimum, says Lely.
