This report was commissioned by Morrisons and Arla Foods from the British Grassland Society.
It includes the answers to 54 questions relating to soils and fertiliser use in the UK, which came from the Arla Milk Producers Group, but also provides a comprehensive guide - taking into account the latest advice from the Fertiliser Manual 2010 (RB209). Its format makes it easy to flick though and work out if you're on the right track, using the short answer, and then to dig into the detail and research to gain a full understanding of if required, leading to guidance on best practice. The A4 size book includes150 pages of content, illustrated with photos, graphs, diagrams and tables.
