How to make beef and sheep farms more resilient
Speaker: Liz Genever
Independent sheep and beef consultant with an interest in grass and forages, grazing management, demonstrations and research

Liz will be discussing the role of grass and forage in resilient systems, both in terms of cost reduction and for the image of the sectors. She will also be highlighting the tools and techniques that farmers will need, along with the range of crops that could be part of resilient systems. There will be a strong focus on grazing strategies and how flexibility is required to get the most from grass. There will be discussion of different sectors and countries and how they have approached “a period of change”.

Sandwich and Chips Supper will be served.
