Permanent grassland management survey

Permanent grassland management survey

Thursday, January 23, 2020

The Horizon 2020 SUPER-G project (Sustainable Permanent Grassland Systems - is carrying out a survey to improve understanding of how permanent grassland is managed and perceived by farmers.

This will help inform the focus for innovation and new agri-environment schemes in the different participating countries, including England and Northern Ireland.

Could you spare a couple of hours to help with this work? The survey is completed face-to-face on farm or at another convenient location and covers the types of grassland on farm; soil management; sward management; perception of public goods (with links to agri-environment), economics, and innovation/knowledge exchange.

If you can participate or would like to know more about the SUPER-G project please contact Paul Newell Price at or on 07774 281253.
