Cheshire Grassland Society meet via Zoom
Cheshire GS held their first meeting of 2020-21 via Zoom. Forty-four members joined the meeting to hear Andy Venables from Hillsgreen Marketing talk about ‘How I left the farm, but ended up taking it with me!’ He discussed his time working outside agriculture, diversifying the family business, and why he set up the milk marketing campaign ’Mission 4 Milk’. The Society would like to thank everyone who attended, and the meeting sponsor, Glycal Forte, who kindly agreed to donate £150 to the Cheshire Agricultural Chaplaincy.
Cheshire Grassland Society secretary Emma Beare said about the online meeting ‘It was really easy to set up and we had really good engagement from the attendees’. The Society are now planning another Zoom meeting for December.
