Meetings and activities:  The society meets on the second Monday of the month from October to February at 8pm.  Meetings take place at Penrhyncoch Football Club, Penrhyncoch, Aberystwyth, SY23 3EH.  A series of guest speakers give presentations on relevant topics. During the last few years the society has visited local farms to see new and innovative developments.  Members compete for various silage competitions, and put entries forward for the Grassland Farmer of the Year

Meetings and activities: Meetings take place on the second Wednesday or Thursday of the month from September to March and farm visits are held from May to July.  The meetings are held at Sennybridge, Talgarth or Crickhowell.  Other events include an inter-society quiz, a Christmas Dinner and big bale and clamp silage competitions.

Meetings and activities:  Meetings are held on the third Tuesday or Thursday of the month (depending on the availability of speakers) from October to March, with the AGM in April.  Meetings are generally held in Usk either at The Grange (Usk Conservative Club) or Usk Rugby Club.  The society also has a couple of summer day visits; one local (Chairman’s farm) and one further afield.  Two silage competitions are held (clamp and bale) and the winners go forward to the FWGS competitions.  An annual dinner, with presentations, is held in March/April.  The Grassland Management Competition is judged in May, with the winner going forward to the FWGS competition.  The awards for this are presented at the Chairman’s Farm Walk.  An Inter Society Quiz is held annually in February, competing against Brecon and Glamorgan Grassland Societies, with the societies taking it in turns to host the event.  The three societies also have joint meetings/visits on occasions.

Meetings and activities:  Meetings are held at 8 pm on the third Wednesday of the month from April to October at the Fishguard Bay Hotel, Fishguard.  The society has a summer day visit to a couple of farms within a 60 mile radius, and a summer evening visit to a local farm.  They run clamp and big bale silage, milk and grassland competitions.  The society also has the Rex Patterson Award for members who want to extend their farming knowledge – a bursary is available and they share the knowledge gained with the society.

Meetings and activities:  The society meets regularly between October and February which includes a day trip in December.  Meetings take place at Maesmawr Hall, Caersws, Powys.  The society also holds a tour abroad in May (5-6 days) and a UK tour in October (2-3 days).  Silage competitions are also held for both pit and big bale silage.
